Registration Details:
Upon arrival, report to the main reception where you will be directed to the registration area.
You will be checked in and given a delegate badge, Tote bag, eco bamboo coffee cup, eco water bottle and eco pencil.

Health and Safety

Please maintain 1m social distancing at all times.
Please follow the one-way systems that are in place throughout the building.
If you are feeling unwell or displaying an Covid related symptoms, please do not attend the conference.
Prior to attending the conference, please undertake a Lateral Flow Test. If the result is positive then please do not attend and take a PCR test.
On Wednesday 15 September, there will be a fire alarm test between 10.30-11.30am.
If you hear the fire alarm at any other time, please evacuate the building and gather at St George’s Church, a member of staff will be on-hand to assist you in the event of an evacuation.
Getting Here
Getting around on foot
Sheffield is a very pedestrian-friendly city, and you’ll find the train station, most hotels, and the conference location are all within walking distance of each other.
The Practical Engineering Education Conference PEE21 and Unimaker will be held in the Diamond Building in Sheffield, S3 7RD, UK. Sheffield also has several convenient transportation options:
Supertram
The Sheffield Supertram crosses through the heart of the city, it stops near the Diamond building (University of Sheffield stop). You do not need a ticket before you enter the Supertram; there is a controller inside of each tram to collect the fare (day tickets are available).
Taxi
Sheffield has several taxi stands throughout the city; there is a taxi stand at the front entrance of the train station and many other places in the city centre. Taxis can also be reserved with City Taxi Sheffield (+44 114 239 3939) or another taxi company.
Bus
Sheffield has a number of bus services that travel through the city centre and the suburbs. Glossop Road/Regent Terrace on west street and Broad Lane/Beet Street are the closest bus stops with lots of buses including 51, 52, 30a, 120, 257, 271, X57, X30, 10, 95 and 181
Car
Sheffield has some parking options; when booking your hotel, consider their parking possibilities and also consider walking or using public transportation to get around – it may be easier than you think.
There are a few options for parking near the Diamond Building, e.g. Q-Park Rockingham Street, Q-Park, Durham Rd or the NCP Solly Street.
